This is a meditation on the many forms of young love. This suite of eight variations interpolates a simple folk melody through different moods and genres. It's not quite a suite in the Baroque sense (the melody is the same) or a "theme and variations" form since the variations shift more abruptly. Recorded quickly--emphasizing direct expression and improvisation--during Jan, Feb, and March 2019.
